Introducing Spartan Fastener

When I talk about my job with people, I admit that the internet has affected the business model of manufacturer’s representatives and I’ve had to adapt, but that at its core I strongly believe sales is still a relationship business. All things being equal, customers are more likely to work with someone they know and trust than give business to someone they’ve never met.

That goes for Principals as well, and I am very happy to say that based on a recommendation I got from a fellow Manufacturer’s Rep friend of mine in New England, I am now representing Spartan Fastener, located in Trevor, WI.

Spartan Fastener (formerly Stabio North America) has been in business since 1976. Starting in the miniature and electrical contact side of the fastener industry, the company soon found itself expanding into multi die and progressive headers producing larger and more complicated product. With renewed interest from a private ownership group, Spartan Fastener finds itself poised for growth and sustainability. I had a great tour of the facility recently and have already won some business for them in this territory.
