Founded in 1984, Engineered Components Company is you best resource for standardized and specialized industrial fasteners. In October of 2009, ECC, purchased the assets of Anchor Bolt & Screw Company. While both companies are now located in ECC's home in Elgin IL, Anchor Bolt & Screw is the company that will sell to distributor accounts, and Engineered Components will sell to OEM accounts

ECC is the company you work with and depend on as a long term partner for service, quality, and the highest standards in the industry. When you need a specific fastener, when you're working with a new design for a specialized component, or for any question you might have about a fastener or component; anywhere in the industry the reasons are many to start with ECC.

ECC stocks thousands of components and is an authorized distributor for some of the best know suppliers in the industry. ECC processes and distributes parts and components from its headquarters facility in Elgin Il (just 40 miles from Chicago) and from three other plants that represent over 125 thousand square feet of manufacturing, warehouse, and office space.

For customized parts, ECC's manufactures and processes components to customer specifications beginning with complete design and engineering capabilities and the manufacturing infrastructure that allows ECC to develop custom sizes and perform plating, customized graphics, pierce and roll riveting, and other high value operations.

In addition to the US plants, ECC has expanded its capabilities through 6 affiliated plants in China. ISO certified, and producing world class quality and customer cost savings in specialized fasteners and other parts. All under ECC's control and meeting your specifications.

ECC has extensive in house packaging capabilities. Precise counting, sorting and bagging; inserted into customer packaging or ECC developed packages and stocked in their warehouses.

Extensive in-house quality control ensures that all components that are sorted, manufactured, processed and shipped by ECC meet customer standards and specifications. This includes sampling, testing, color matching, and other checks that you expect and require.

ECC is UL and ISO certified. They can ship to JIT (Just-In-Time) schedules and for over 25m stocked items, can usually ship same day for next day delivery.
